"Ten years ago, I thought of making the Via Crucis stations come from my own hands as an artist… however, it was on this Good Friday… unable to sleep… moved by an impulse… I felt it come from my heart… the third to the fourteenth visitation… of the Passion of Christ reflecting on the paper… the Via Crucis stations, when on Holy Saturday the Lord resurrected in my heart and now… dwells with all fervor… it will never leave… Jesus, I love you,… and I trust in you eternally! April 18, 2009."
